JAKARTA - PDIP 2024 presidential candidate, Ganjar Pranowo, invites young people to plunge and get involved in politics. In fact, Ganjar invited them to practice directly by becoming his campaigner in the 2024 presidential election.
This was conveyed by Ganjar when he met hundreds of young people at the Ideafest Lead The Leap event at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Saturday (30/9/2023). The event was attended by hundreds of young people from various regions in Indonesia.
"Young people should not be apathetic to politics. Don't abstain from voting. You will regret it," said Ganjar.
Because, continued Ganjar, politics is consensus and agreement. Many political policies are taken by agreement in a democratic country like Indonesia.
"There are many issues that young people are currently concerned about, such as climate change, employment and others. If young people are apathetic to politics, they will regret it. Because they cannot be involved in decision-making," he said.
For this reason, he asked young people to get involved in politics. In fact, Ganjar invited young people to get involved directly and make them his campaigners in the 2024 presidential election.
"Today I am proposing to my friends to join politics. If you want to get involved, experience learning by doing, then please join my campaign. Hey young people, do you want to be my success team?" asked Ganjar, greeted by boisterous applause from the participants.
If anyone wants to, Ganjar invited them to contact him. Not only learning, the young person will also be Ganjar's discussion partner on various issues that are currently trending.
"Please give us input on many things that young people want. I will give you tremendous space," said Ganjar to the enthusiastic applause of the young people.
On that occasion, Ganjar presented his ideas about Indonesia Emas 2045. Among them is the digital industry which involves many creative young people.
"Mr. Ganjar's presentation was cool, concise, solid and clear. He looks well prepared because he has experience," said Mia (20), a participant.
Mia also appreciated Ganjar for inviting young people to enter politics and making them campaigners. According to her, this is an interesting way for young people to experience firsthand and be involved in policy making.
"The idea is interesting, it's like an internship. But this is a political internship. Very interesting. I will look for info to participate," he said.
