Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Marshal TNI (Ret.) Hadi Tjahjanto received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Japan and the Ambassador of India.
In a written statement on Thursday (18/4/2024), it was stated that the visits of the two Ambassadors emphasized the desire of each country to enhance bilateral cooperation with Indonesia.
When receiving an honorary visit from Japanese Ambassador to Indonesia Masaki Yasushi, the Coordinating Minister underlined the good relations between Indonesia and Japan that have been established for 66 years. The Coordinating Minister expressed hope that it can continue to bring tangible benefits for the welfare of the people in both countries.
Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Masaki Yasushi conveyed the important role and support of the Indonesian Government in improving bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the visit, the development of ongoing cooperation between Indonesia and Japan in the fields of investment, infrastructure, defense and security was also discussed.
Meanwhile, when Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs received Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Sandeep Chakravorty, he congratulated India for holding the G20 meeting last year and also hoped that India's democratic party which will be held on April 19, 2024 can run smoothly and successfully.
The two state officials also discussed several issues of bilateral cooperation including the plan to implement the 3rd Indonesia-India Security Dialogue (IISD) and cyber security cooperation.(InfoPublik)
