Unite Sulawesi migrants, Formasi Indonesia will hold its first congress


Jakarta, The Indonesia Herald -  The Central Executive Board of the Indonesian Sulawesi Community Forum (DPP Formasi) held a gathering and consolidation of the board at Punggawa Cafe, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Wednesday (26/07).

The meeting, which was attended by around 50 representatives of migrants from six provinces in Sulawesi, is planned to hold the first Formasi Indonesia congress in Jakarta.

Daeng Jamal as one of the founders and declarators in his speech revealed that this pagayuban organization will be part of the historical record.

"Formasi Indonesia will be the first organization that will solidly move to gather the people of Sulawesi from Sabang to Merauke," said Daeng Jamal.

Daeng Jamal, a Sulawesi community leader who lives in Jakarta, said that through the strength of a sense of brotherhood, cultural customs and manners, his party would unite all differences in the frame of kinship and the spirit of togetherness.

"The Formasi Indonesia was formed on the basis of kinship and still makes Pancasila the principle of the organization so that in the future this organization can build communication and coordination with regional-based organizations of the Sulawesi community that have previously been formed so that they can be united for the benefit of many people," explained Daeng Jamal.

He continued, the purpose of the formation of this organization is for the development of Sulawesi people who are noble and able to be useful in the life of the nation and state,

"Always maintaining the good name of the region, making every person to work together to build a people's economy without distinguishing ethnicity, religion, and strata, distinguish ethnicity, religion, and social strata," added Deng Jamal.

It is known that the Formasi Indonesia will gather overseas Sulawesi communities spread across 6 provinces, namely South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Gorontalo. (IBRAHIM)
