Jakarta - PT Pertamina EP Cepu is committed to implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles with a focus on integrity, transparency, and accountability. The company has ensured that every employee and all related parties uphold the values of integrity and operate a strict anti-bribery management system.
The concrete steps that have been implemented by PT Pertamina EP Cepu include the prevention of conflicts of interest, reporting of gratuities, and GCG comprehension tests that must be taken by all employees. In addition, certain positions in the company are required to report the State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) as part of the transparency efforts in company management.
The Corruption Eradication Commission's Business Anti-Corruption Director, Aminudin, expressed his high appreciation for the company's commitment to implementing strict GCG principles. This is because a healthy and sustainable business can only be realized if it applies the values of strong integrity, accountability, and transparency in every decision.
“Whatever the action, it starts with intention. If the intention is for the personal interest or a particular group, even if it is disguised, it will eventually be revealed. We really appreciate PT Pertamina EP Cepu which is committed to maintaining integrity at every level,” said Aminudin, in a workshop held by PT Pertamina EP Cepu entitled Strengthening Good Corporate Governance through the Implementation of the Business Judgment Rule, which took place in Jakarta on Wednesday (12/3/2025).
The President Director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Muhamad Arifin, emphasized that his party has a very high commitment to implementing GCG principles. He also stated that the company routinely holds meetings and assessments to ensure that every decision made by management and commissioners is always based on good governance principles.
“GCG is a very important principle for us. Together with the commissioners, we ensure that every decision made is based on the values of transparency and accountability,” said Arifin.
The President Commissioner of PT Pertamina EP Cepu, Taufan Hunneman, also emphasized that the company is committed to ensuring that there are no loopholes for corrupt practices. According to him, the prevention of corruption must start from top management who set an example for all employees.
“We are very serious about internalizing corruption prevention, by supporting anti-corruption education from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and ensuring that top management also participates in reporting LHKPN (State Financial Report). All of this is part of our efforts to create a corporate culture that is free from corruption,” concluded Taufan.
