Bengkulu, Indonesia Herald - Bengkulu Deputy Governor Rosjonsyah has called on all parties to work together, especially in guarding and realizing a safe and peaceful 2024 election in Bengkulu Province.
Rosjonsyah conveyed this call when attending an interfaith joint prayer activity in order to welcome the 77th Bhayangkara Day in 2023, located at the Bengkulu Police Adem Building, Friday (30/6/2023).
"Let's synergize together in maintaining Kamtibmas according to our respective duties and functions. Synergize and unite to protect each other and oversee the 2024 election," said Rosjonsyah.
Still in the atmosphere of Eid al-Adha, the interfaith joint prayer activity organized by Bengkulu Police raised the theme "Knitting Nationalism and Religious Tolerance in order to maintain Diversity in the Framework of National Unity and Unity for Peaceful Elections Towards Advanced Indonesia".
In his speech, Rosjonsyah prayed that the Police would become more professional and able to provide a sense of security to the entire community.
"Hopefully, the commitment to serve the community professionally regardless of differences in ethnicity, religion, race and customs in Bengkulu Province can be well maintained, thus creating a safe and conducive Kamtibmas," said Rosjonsyah.
Also present at the joint prayer activity were the Bengkulu Police Chief, elements of the Bengkulu Province Forkopimda, the ranks of the Bengkulu Police Principal Officers, religious leaders, community leaders and various layers of society. (Bengkulu Prov/toeb)
